Ziepniekkalns Juglā is a collaboration project with the fish shop and gallery Vēsās Zivis (Cool fish). Vēsās Zivis is located in Jugla district and in front of its entrance is the bus route 40 stop. This route is one of the longest in Riga taking passengers to the opposite side of the city which is Ziepniekkalns.
The aim of the project is to reveal the many historical layers of Ziepniekkalns district by studying its heterogeneous building and in such a way inviting locals of Jugla to visit Ziepniekkalns simply by using public transport.
The exhibition took part in the gallery during summer 2019. The photos were complimented with the written material about Ziepniekkalns historical building and a sightseeing map of the area.
